Academy Program

The goal of the KM United Academy is to provide young soccer enthusiasts with a fun, safe environment to learn the
beautiful game of soccer; to give every player the best opportunity to be successful in a positive, team-oriented
environment.

KM United Academy is a new and exciting program for the U-6 to U-10 age groups. It replaces the existing "Recreational" program, but does not abandon the program's underlying philosophy and structure. Instead, it seeks to supplement that philosophy by further assisting the recreational players develop their skills and enjoy the game. Players and coaches are provided with additional opportunities to learn new skills and enhance their understanding of the game.

The Academy is overseen by the Director of the Academy, who will train with the teams once a week and also provide assistance and training curriculum to their coaches. Players in the U-6 through U-8 age group will play for Academy Recreational teams similar to their former rec. teams, with enhanced training opportunities. At the U-9 and U-10 age group, players and parents will have two options, Academy Recreational or Academy Elite, and can select the one that best suits their needs.
