Kettle Moraine Summer Soccer Camps

About the Camps

KM United is excited to announce its new Summer Academy Program. The program is designed to give players an opportunity to train over the summer at an affordable rate. Each week will have a different focus, and will be a great way for players to hone and develop their skills in a competitive arena.

Coaches will be current and former collegiate and/or professional soccer players (see biographies). T.C. Ward, KM United’s Academy Director, will also be the Summer Academy Director. The Academy will be open to players ages 8-18, and is not restricted to players in KM United soccer club. Players will be separated by age and skill level, to best foster their development over the course of the program.

Camps will be held at Brandybrook Park in Wales, WI. In the event of inclement weather, KM United Summer Academy reserves the right to cancel a session if it is in the best interest of the safety of the players.

The camps will run from 1:30-4:30 pm at Brandybrook.

Coach Biographies

Week 1 – June 20-24 Ages 8-12 Attacking Fundamentals $99

This week’s focus will be on attacking. Players will develop their technical skills in dribbling, passing, and finishing. Training sessions will focus on team shape in attack, transitioning to attack (counterattacking), finishing, and much more. This is a great opportunity for players just entering the Academy Elite and Select level to get a head start on concepts and techniques they will be learning over the course of the next year. Week 2 – June 27-July 1 Ages 8-12 Defending and Team Defense $99

This week’s focus will be on defending. Players will learn proper defensive stance, defensive shape, and how to recover when they lose the ball. Training sessions will focus on team shape in defense, pressuring and covering defenders, high pressure and low pressure situations, and much more. This is a great opportunity for players entering the Academy Elite and Select level programs to learn basic techniques in 1v1 defending and team defense. Registration Form | Waiver

Week 3 – July 5-8 Ages 8-18 Finishing $89

This week’s focus will be solely on finishing. Sessions will be intensive in crossing and shooting. Players will take hundreds upon hundreds of shots over the course of the week, as they learn proper technique in shooting for power, placement, etc. Players will also learn how to take free kicks, how to bend the ball and where to place it. Week 4 – July 11-15 Goalkeeping $155

This week’s focus will be on goalkeeping. Keepers will work on shot stopping, distribution, and much more. The camp will be coached by current and former collegiate and professional goalkeepers. Registration Form | Waiver

Week 5 – July 25-29 Ages 13-18 Advanced Team Play $99

This week’s focus will be on advanced team play. Training sessions will focus on leadership, possession, and how to win in difficult situations. This program is ideal for the player entering the high school program and looking to excel at that level. Sessions will be primarily geared towards team play, with a strong emphasis on working with your teammates in high pressure situations. *Players must be on a select team in order to register for this week. Marquette University Camp — July 18-21 — Ages 7-12: 4 day camp, 2 hours per day $125
Ages 7-9 1:00-3:00 pm; Ages 10-12 3:30-5:30 pm

Family member discount – First child is full price, second child receives $5 discount, any child after receives $10 discount.
Frequent Camper Discount – First camp is full price, second camp is $10 off, all camps after are $5 off.
Team Discount – Register with 6 or more of your teammates and receive a $10 off discount.
